But not all gated communities are the same. Some gated communities offer more amenities than others. Others offer better convenience and proximity to shops, restaurants, and healthcare.

That's why it is important that you ask the right questions before signing any dotted line.


Here are seven important questions you should ask before buying a house in a gated community in Vero Beach.


1. Why is the owner selling the home?

Find out why the owner is selling the property. When someone sells a home, they have a good reason for doing so.
